Everything’s Coming Up Arty (and daffodils)

And I am here to tell YOU — yes, YOU — what the latest is.

This week I have two shows: an opening with Quito Ziegler @ Proteus Gowanus, and, the SAME NIGHT, the JFREJ/Workmen’s Circle annual Purimshpil. SO MUCH ART. SO LITTLE TIME.

It really is that good, folks. It’s an installation/performance/dance extravaganza:

The annual legendary Purimspiel is back! * $15 + no one turned away for lack of cash or costume * CABARET! BANDS! ART! FOOD! BAR! COSTUME CONTEST! * Inner Princess vs Yiddish Princess battle of the bands! * Rude Mechanical Orchestra! * DJ Lil Ray! and more! * 49 White Street between Broadway and Church, Tribeca, NY, NY

And then, opening the same night, the opening of TRANSPORT at Proteus Gowanus, an amazing multidisciplinary space and reliquary (look for Quito and I to do an event there this spring!).

Due to my responsibilities at Purim, I will be missing the opening — but you could do both! See, it’s easy:
